Zz top el loco album review. Its far and away the worst ZZ Top album ever. Replete with sexual euphemisms Tube Snake Boogie Pearl Necklace and an endearing sense of the absurd Groovy Little Hippie Band Heaven Hell Or Houston El Loco is unlike most albums I arrived at late. El Loco is the seventh studio album by the American rock band ZZ Top released in 1981The title means The Crazy One in SpanishThe bands guitaristsinger Billy Gibbons has said that the recording of this album was the first time the three members of the band were isolated from one another in the studio rather than recording simultaneously in the same room.

The only snag to the album is this is when ZZ Top were yet to perfect the blend between the eighties styled synth sounds and the bluesy guitar tones of Billy Gibbons. After the tepid Tejas and something of a hiatus ZZ Top consolidated their strengths and returned to form with Deguello in 1979. Blues Rock Boogie Rock.

Released in 1987 on Warner Bros. Not even the dreadful Recycler can give El Loco a run for its money. El Loco is an album that really drives me nuts.

Loved Eliminator when it came out but it was played to death on the radio. This was paired with its follow-up El Loco 1981 onto a double-LP set or single cassette which has since gone out of print. Labels Warner Music Group.

The album before Eliminator and ZZ Top were displaying hints of what would soon ignite the massive upturn in their profile. In El Loco you can hear the evolution occuring. El Loco is a solid album from ZZ Top and itd be one of my personal favourites by them.

The double entendres on Tube Snake Boogie and Pearl Necklace are barely disguised while much of the record plays as flat-out goofy party rock. Dyed-in-the-wool blues and boogie played with no frills or nods to any prevailing musical trends. El Loco is a solid album from ZZ Top and itd be one of my personal favourites by them.

Album Name El Loco. Deguello was a bit more obscure so stayed more fresh. Possibly Leila and Its So Hard are the highlights of El Loco record.

El Loco is the perfect mix between the two. This is the first review Ive done on my site with over 150 more reviews to come. Members owning this album.

El Loco was arguably the slickest sharpest and meanest record the band had done to date taking everything up a notch from what had gone before. Band Name ZZ Top. El Loco represents what every true blue supporter of ZZ Top expects from an album.

El Loco an Album by ZZ Top. But what makes El Loco so bad for me personally anyways is that the few places where the album is good it contains some of the best music of the bands career. EL LOCO was a little too slick and silly for its own good.

Check out my ZZ Top El Loco review with tons of details. It comes as a disappointment after fiery raw blues-rock energy of DEGUELLO. Discover releases reviews credits songs and more about ZZ Top - El Loco at Discogs.

El Loco follows through on the streamlined jet-engine boogie rock of Degüello but kicking all the ingredients up a notchThat means that the grooves are getting a little slicker while the jokes are getting a little sillier a little raunchier. Billy Gibbons guitar sounds strangely soft and the whole production and style contrast with their simple blues-rock boogie-rock from the 70s and anticipates their 80s AOR-ish sound. It also marks the beginning of ZZ Tops flirtation with electronics.

1981s El Loco is a lovely crappy and odd little album that is hidden into the armpit of ZZ Tops back catalog so to speak. ZZ Tops El Loco was the last blast of righteous straight-up Southwestern fried blues boogie and rock before the well-oiled Texas trio slipped into a techno-version of their ten-gallon hat stomp and heavy promotional video rotationLeading the way from the ten song El Loco are the sexually engergized rockers Tube Snake Boogie and Pearl Necklace plus the raucous LP closer Party on the. The missing link and I cant believe I didnt buy this album back in the day but I have it now.

El Loco by ZZ Top released in 1981 via Warner Bros. Shop Vinyl and CDs and complete your ZZ Top collection. Six Pack gathers ZZ Tops first five albums plus El Loco on three discs with the added bonus of new drum and guitar effects all added to contemporarize the sound -- to make it sound a bit like Eliminator thenIf Six Pack just delivered the original albums itd be a good investment but the studio tinkering makes this a disaster.
